 What's on the menu?

Today we are going to talk about menus. A menu is a list of food and drinks that a restaurant offers to its customers. Menus can be different: some are short and simple, others are long and detailed. 

In this lesson, we will learn the parts of a menu: starters, main courses, side dishes, desserts, and drinks. 

By the end of the lesson, you will be able to understand what a menu shows and also learn how to read prices in English.

Hello everyone! Today we are going to travel around the world without leaving our classroom. How? By talking about food! Everyone loves food, right? Let’s discover what people eat in different countries.

 Lesson 3. Impressionism and Post-Impressionism

Today we are going to explore two important art movements: Impressionism and Post‑Impressionism.
First, we’ll look at paintings by artists like Claude Monet and Vincent van Gogh. We’ll notice how they use colour, brushstrokes, and shapes in different ways.
